Investigation of electric field influence on some physical-chemical processes occurring in the stratal system

Influence of the DC and AC electric field on pH index, the interfacial tension of the aqueous electrolytes of the different nature and volume rate of the fluid filtration from heavy clay porous medium have been considered in the article. The fresh (from Kura River), marine (from Caspian Sea), hard and alkaline stratal waters were used as electrolytes. Models of porous medium were composed of Kirmaki suite rocks. It has been determined that both the variable parameters of the electric field intensity and ion exchange in contact of sea water with porous medium influence on the resultant value of pH electrolyte. It has been revealed that displacement of alkaline water from reservoir model by fresh one strongly decreases permeability of the porous medium and under influence on this model direct-current or alternating-current the filterability of porous medium is greatly improved. The obtained results give evidence of the possibility of selectively regulation of system filterability due to variation of the electrolyte nature and the parameters of this electric field.
