The paper focuses on change of H2S content in gases of mineral springs, mud volcanoes, in associate and waterdissolved gases of oil and gas fields, gasohydrates. There is a comparison of H2S content in studied objects. As a whole, natural gases of Azerbaijan according to their H2S content in hydrocarbon combinations refer to very low categories.
Factual data obtained and patterns of H2S distribution in associate and waterdissolved hydrocarbon gases of oil and gas deposits, mud volcanoes and especially increase of H2S value after eruption enables to predict H2S content in perspective deep hydrocarbon pool.
