The prevention of borehole’s deviation when directional well drilling at rock anisotropy

It is necessary to determine the action direction of rock anizotropy factor vector to prevent hole deviation caused by geologic causes, especially by rock anizotropy. The expressions have been derived to determine the angle between anizotropy factor vector action planes & drill load also the difference of these planes dihedral angle sides azimuths. The relationship, which determines stable azimuth position of borehole depending of formation adjacent angle & hole’s zenith angle has been presented.
Zenith angle minimum value determination method has been given, which is necessary to stabilize borehole azimuth for the whole field area at the known value of even one field section. These values has been presented for Guneshli, where formations adjacent angles are within 40°.
