Petrophysical characteristics of crust and mantle eclogites under high thermodynamic conditions and their state in the Earth lithosphere

Petrophysical characteristics of the crust and mantle eclogites are determined in the modified solid phase facility of high quasihydrostatic pressure by the impulse ultrasonic method. From the obtained data it is seen that area of the physical parameters variation for all groups of eclogites is wide enough. It is explained by variation of ratio of ore-forming minerals and partial changeability of samples by the secondary processes. There had been determined that physical parameters of crust eclogites form the metamorphic complexes of Kokchetav massif, Ural and Tien-Shan are corresponded to the seismic characteristics of crust-mantle intermixture of the continental crust. The average values of the physical parameters measured in the samples of mantle eclogites from the kimberlite pipes of explosion in Yakutia and Pamirs are corresponded to the seismic characteristics of undercrust layer of the normal upper mantle of the continents.
