The paper deals with results of experiments on oil displacement by a combination of diesel-alkaline waste (DAW) and polymer. Irrespect of oil viscosity, oil displacement by a combination of a solution of a DAW and polymer is more effective than the flooding and application of DAW separately. With the size of fringes of 30-50 % VP (at a reduced utilization of chemical reagents), the water-free and final ratio of oil recovery (ROR) is higher than during uninterrupted injection of the combination.
