The peculiarities of the South Caspian depression earth crust on the new geophysical data

This article focuses on peculiarities of the South Caspian Depression Earth Crust on the new geophysical data. 2 D seismostratigraphic models of the Earth Crust have been compiled on materials of ultra deep seismometry and modification CDP (Common Depth Point) (UD-CDP) and DSS (Deep Seismic Sounding) which are compared with tomographic and gravimetric models. A high efficiency of UD-CDP is demonstrated in study of crystalline crust and basal depositional sequence. Conceptually important peculiarities of crystalline crust were defined and the necessity of single time-spatial scheme (historical geological model) was substantiated on preliminary net of seismic monitoring.

On the base of high informative data of UD-CDP and seismostratigraphic models considering geological-geophysical key features the peculiarities of subduction model of crystalline crust depression plunger under epi-Hercinian platform in the Absheron sill vicinity are discussed. This zone is one of the component of plate tectonic model of region evolution.
