This article presents the results of an experimental research into the surface active properties and reservour oil extraction capabilities of the diesel-alkaline waste.
It was found that after decreasing the concentration of the diesel-alkaline waste in its solutions within specified limits it is observed that the oil/solution interface tension and the surface tension (σ) are changing in a non monotone way. As result almost within the same limits of changing concentration it is observed that the values of the reservour hydrocarbon liquid extraction ratios for both water free and overall production periods are also changing in a non monotone way.
