The gold content of the copper-porphyry ores of the Mekhmana ore region deposits is considered depending on tectonic positions of deposits, ore-bearing intrusives composition, the number and the ratios of the main and associated components. The productive mineralization manifested in two stages: 1) quartz molybdenite, quartz-chalcopyrite 2) quartz-chalcosine-pyrite-chalcopyrite, sphalerite-galenite-gold-rare-metal. In the first stage the gold is contained unevenly and pyrite and chalcopyrite are concentrators. In the second stage galenite, sphalerite as well as grey ores and tellurides are gold-containing. We have defined three gold-bearing associations: quartz-molybdenite-chalcopyrite, quartz-pyrite-chalcopyrite and quartz-galenite-sphalerite depending on the mineral composition of the ores.
