The article deals with the problems of migration in Nakhchyvan Autonomous Republic which is the integral part of Azerbaijan. In the research work, the movement of population is studied within the territory of the autonomous republic as well as between Nakhchyvan and other regions of the country, and foreign countries. Migratory processes and their change are analyzed by the directions of movement. The reasons of movement of population as well as factors contributing to the growth of the intensity of migration during years of independence of Azerbaijan are investigated in the article.
