Emergence, population number as well as formation of economic and social-demographic potentiality of cities are influenced by different factors. Variety of these factors entails great difference between cities for their development level. As cities develop, employment as well as level of service grow.
Classification of cities plays significant role when studying them. It defines development level of cities. Classification is also important for comparing cities development level and level of living as well as solving economic problems. Cities in Gazvin province are grouped on the basis of seven indicators. Models of Antropy and Topsis are used in the study.
