The peculiarities of Baer knolls transformation were detected in the North-West Caspian Sea region. It was determined by specific character of the environment including existence of the closely cemented carbonate-gypsous horizon outliers which was inhibited ridges from the destruction. These conditions along with delta flooding in the periods of Caspian Sea ingressions forwarded formation of the bizarre form of outliers often inconsistent to familiar image of its forms. Theoretic and estimated outfits on developing a version of the terrain transformation are proved by the natural analogues. The present version unifies both special cases and some ideas of previously suggested hypotheses about the mechanism of these aged pediment coastal dunes.
