According to research results of fragmental rocks of Middle Jurassic deposits of Pre-Caspian depression of Azerbaijan and Dagestan the predominance of two petrographic types – feldspathic graywakes and graywake arkoses was determined in the article. It indirectly indicates on participation of the provenance area in their formation. Although in their territorial distribution there is observed accurate regularity especially: graywake arkoses developed in the Middle Jurassic fragmental rocks of Begimdag-Tekchay structural-facial zone and feldspathic graywakes are distributed in middle Jurassic fragmental rocks of Prisamur structural-facial zone (Yalama-South Dagestan). Only single basic pro­venance area – Middle-Caspian arc took part in its formation of feldspathic-graywake type. The metamorphized sedi­mentary complex of Upper Paleozoic and Varician granitoids which are widely distributed in Hercynian basement in South Pre-Caucasian region and South Mangyshlak have took part in its formation.
