This paper focuses on existing hypotheses and theories of the Earth tectonic development based on reference data due to endogenic processes manifestation. There is data of convective currents, lithospheric transfers, subduction and collision processes, plumtectonics and many other phenomena causing a number of discussions. It is noteworthy that role of convective currents in Lower, Middle and Upper mantle is of great importance and their influence on lithosphere geodynamics. Along with well-known “traditional” ideas there is also present research in this field, and research results enable to feel better the nature and role of deep processes manifestation in Earth evolution.
To authors’ opinion convection occurs independently in each mantle section. Moreover, these processes interact with other and their summary influence causes geodynamics of lithosphere. Convection in the lower mantle is rather noticeable as is subjected to influence of Earth external nucleus. The authors agree with some investigations’ point of view lack of subduction in Alpine cycle of tectogenesis and as a whole a mechanism of this process has not been substantiated enough.
