The article focuses on study of rock damping ability influence and displacing hydrocarbon liquid of solution on mechanism of forward- and counterflow capillary displacement. Surface-active matters such as Slovasol-A (hydrophilic) and Slovasol-B (hydrophobic) are used as chemical reagents and oil from X horizon of Guneshli field is used as hydrocarbon liquid.

It has been defined during oil displacement from bed model consisting of carbonaceous rocks with solutions of water-repellent properties the coefficient of forward flow capillary displacement is much more (15%) than from bed model consisting of hydrophilic properties of porous media. The same results have been obtained during counter-flow capillary displacement.

In case of hydrophilic nature of porous media maximum coefficients of oil capillary displacement can be observed by using of solution with Slovasol-A hydrophysics ability. Time of displacement reduces in this case.
