Echinoderma of the late Cretaceous were inhabitants mainly of region with active hydrodynamic regime basin preferring transition zone from littoral to sublittoral.
Their main inhabitation is connected with sandy-carbonaceous ground. On the wnole, fauna nature, its rich composition (echinoderma, mollusks, foraminifers etc.) probably show the normal marine conditions existing during the late Cretaceous basins of the Lesser Caucasus (Azerbaijan).
