The investigation was carried out in the south-eastern slope of Minor Caucasus at the altitude of 600-1600 and 2000 m above sea level in oak, hornbeam, juniper and platan forests. The soils are mainly brown, cinnamon mountain- forest.
The chemical composition of green leaves were determined in test area selected beforehand in summer period during the 1986-1988.
The ash portions of wood species are as follows: platan Caucasian 9.8%. hornbeam Caucasian 7,41-7,52%, oak Eastern 6,01-6,77%, juniper 6,04-6,43, pistachio 5,57%.
