The article considers the principles of the beginning of a drilling column sticking, mainly connected to the increase of viscosity parameters, changing of wash over liquid properties as well as alteration of a borehole radius which causes the drilling columns seizure. The article presents a model of the process of changing of the contact force at the column surface, the value of which serves as an indicator of a cause of the sticking beginning.
