Features of South-Caspian basin (SCB) oil expansion according to chemical composition is considered in article. And the main attention is given to SCB fields group and individual hydrocarbon composition of oil light (boiling beginning 200ºC) heavy (boiling end 200ºC) fractions and CO2 ISU.
On the basis of geological and geochemical study hypergenic and catagenic zones are separated. Hypergenic zone covers a part of section up to 900 m depth. the comes transitional (cryptohypergenesis) zone that is more than 2000 m of depth and is related to catagenic zone. These zones are gradually transitted one to another depending on accurrence depth and temperature.
