About genesis of HC gases of the South-Caspian depression as per isotope data
Institute of Geology and Geophysics of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, AZ1143, Baku, H.Javid av., 119
Analysis of HC gases of mud volcanoes, oil fields, bottom sediments, gas hydrates of the South-Caspian depression proposed by M Shoell was made on the base of conceptual principles of HC gases isotope composition interpretation.
As a result of these studies there were made a conclusion, that gases were formed as a result of biogenic, thermocatalytic transformation of organic matter and associated with liquid hydrocarbons. Depending upon the studied object there were established differences in the isotope composition of carbon and hydrogen.
