The paper gives the results of an experimental study on the effect of carbon content and clayiness of rocks as well as the volume of the oil injected through the porous medium, on adsorption and wettability. It is stated that maximum adsorption of active components from the oil can be observed on the surface of rocks containing carbonates in a great amount.
The influence of periodicity of the plates contact with the oil on the hydrophobization process of the surface has been studied been with this, it is stated that aggradation of wettability of the plates surface with water has been observed during three periods; after that, the values of marginal angles of wettability stabilize practically.
Thus, studies carried out allowed to set up some situations that reveal the effect of adsorption intensity of active components on wettability.
